Community yoga class outdoors
Donation Based

Give what you can. Come as you are.

Yoga in the Woods runs entirely on community support. Here's how it works — and how to contribute.

How It Works

Yoga shouldn't be a luxury.

These classes are offered on a donation basis because everyone deserves access to movement and community — regardless of what's in their wallet. There are no membership fees, no sign-up costs, and no one checking what you put in the jar.

The suggested donation is $15 per class. That's what keeps this going — covering the time, preparation, and energy that goes into every session. If you're able to give more, you're directly helping someone else show up who can't.

If $15 isn't possible right now, give what you can — or simply show up. Your presence is never conditional on your payment. No one is ever turned away.

Suggested Donation

$15

per class

Give more if you're able. Give less if you need to. Come regardless — the mat is always here.

Payment Options

Easy ways to give

Bring whatever works for you — there's no wrong way to contribute.

Cash

Bring cash to class and drop it in the donation jar. Small bills always welcome — no change needed.

Venmo

Send a payment before or after class via Venmo. Quick, easy, and no cash required.

Cash App

Cash App works great too. Pay at your convenience — before, during, or after class.

Why It Matters

Your contribution keeps this community alive.

It keeps the doors open — literally

Donations cover the time and energy that goes into planning, showing up, and teaching six classes a week. Without community support, these classes don't exist.

It pays it forward

When you give $15 or more, you're helping cover someone who can only give $5 today. The donation model works because the community holds it together — everyone contributes what they can.

It keeps yoga accessible

Studio yoga can cost $25–$40 a class. That price point excludes a lot of people. Donation-based classes mean yoga stays available to anyone who wants it — not just those who can afford a membership.

No one is ever turned away.

If $15 isn't possible right now — or any amount isn't possible — please come anyway. Seriously. Show up, roll out your mat, and practice. That's all that's asked of you.

Yoga in the Woods exists to be a place where everyone belongs. Financial hardship doesn't change that. Your presence is the point.
